Tag Encoding

Encoding an NFC tag is a quick and easy process that can be done easily on your own using your NFC enabled phone. There are many applications out there that you can use for the encoding process.

However, if you are purchasing a large quantity of NFC tags, it can be quite time consuming if you were to do the encoding yourself. We offer NFC tag encoding service at merely RM0.50 per NDEF record for NFC tags purchased from our store. We have the expertise, experience and all the necessary equipments to provide you with a fast and efficient service.

What can be encoded?

Basically, we encode only messages that follows NDEF protocol. NDEF is a standardized data format defined by the NFC Forum so that all NFC devices can exchange messages.

We recommend to make a tag read-only by locking it if you plan to make it public. If the tag is not locked, anybody with a NFC device can change the content. A locked tag cannot be unlocked.


How long does it take for encoding?

The lead time depends on the tag quantity. For example, for less than 500 tags, it will take about 1 to 2 days.
